what's a sharira, anyway?

This week I'm teaching a practice I struggle with and, as such, I have a lot to say about it!

What’s the practice?

Sharira Shodhana. The practice of "purifying the bodies". That's what Sharira Shodhana translates to--though the interpretation for what that means is no closed book. In the "How to" episode, I offer you my two cents (which bodies? purifying how?), including a different translation for "shodhana/purifying".

How can you use this practice?

This is a visualization practice. If seeing images in your mind is easy and enjoyable for you, this practice might be, too! If not so much (like me), this practice might be challenging (one can improve their ability to visualize!) or frustrating (improving ability takes effort, patience, and, significantly, desire!). If you're not sure where you land, the "how to" episode may paint a clearer picture.

Have a listen or give it a try when you're ready

I'd love to know how it goes. Let me know if you like!
