For 1:1 sessions: Invoices are sent monthly on the first Sunday of the month and are due by the end of that same month. You're welcome to pay online, by check, or with cash if we're meeting in person.
For online classes and workshops: Payment is pay-what-you-choose, when you choose.
For in-person classes and workshops: Payment structures vary by program. Payment prior to the start of the session is appreciated.
For 1:1 sessions: We typically establish a regular weekly time that works for both of us, then adjust as needed for your schedule and mine. This consistency helps create the foundation for meaningful work together while maintaining the flexibility we all need.
If you need to change your regular time, just let me know and we'll find something that works.
For new 1:1 clients: I consider the first 6 weeks an assessment period where we're both getting to know how we work together. Around that time, I'll check in with you about how things are feeling and whether this approach seems like a good mutual fit.
For 1:1 sessions: Please give at least 24-hours notice to avoid being charged for the session. This policy helps me maintain my schedule and livelihood while giving you flexibility for life's unexpected moments. I do make an exception to this policy in cases of true emergencies and sudden-onset illness.
For individual classes and workshops paid in advance: If you're unable to attend, you're welcome to use the session fee at a future date or apply it toward the cost of 1:1 sessions.
Your privacy matters to me. Any personal information you share during our work together will be kept confidential and will not be shared with others.
I want you to feel informed about what we're doing together and what I can and cannot provide.
Your well-being is in your hands. Movement practices include physical movements, breathing exercises, and mental focus. As with any physical activity, the risk of injury is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. You assume full responsibility for this risk.
This is movement work, not medical treatment. Yoga and movement sessions are not substitutes for medical attention, examination, diagnosis, or treatment. Some practices are not recommended for certain medical conditions. You are responsible for deciding whether and how to participate in any movement or practice I offer.
You make the choices. Everything I offer is an invitation. You always have the option to modify, skip, or do something completely different from what I suggest. I encourage you to trust yourself about what feels right for your body.
By working together, you agree to release and waive any claims you may have against me as your movement teacher or facilitator.
If you know someone who might benefit from this work, I'm always grateful for referrals. Word-of-mouth recommendations from people who've experienced these sessions firsthand mean everything to a small practice like mine.
Feel free to reach out if you have questions about any of these policies. I'm happy to clarify anything that would help you feel more comfortable about working together.
