Since 2018, I've been sharing meditation practices on Esther's Everyday Meditation podcast. Techniques are in the ISHTA "kriya meditation" style, and each new practice gets its own "how to," so that newcomers and repeat listeners alike can feel at home.
Movement can be tremendously healing, in so many ways. The Moved to Heal podcast offers movement practices grounded in a trauma-informed approach, making them useful compliment to deep healing work, as well as a comfortable space for anyone to take a break from a stressful day.
I've been teaching group yoga and meditation classes since 2011. I moved my teaching online in 2020, and offer three weekly classes for all levels of experience. I keep classes small so I can adapt to the needs of who's there and encourage community .
I teach movement and meditation courses that take you deeper into how these practices work, what they can do for you, and how to make them part of your life for as long as you need. Courses have been on break 2019-2020, but are coming back in 2021!
To maintain your health, you have to ask yourself: "how can I deal with what's going on today?" Some days it might be a breathing exercise, and some days it might be a vigorous practice, but having a totality of the practice -the diversity of ways to combat stress- is important. And you really do that: you incorporate the whole package into your lessons.
