Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga 216

Immerse yourself in yoga

When you spend all day looking forward to your practice, you may just be ready for a deep dive into the thick of it.

The Yoga Teacher Training programs at Yoga 216 will transform your understanding of yoga. All of our programs, co-created by me and studio owner Nicole Katz, are limited to 6 people. You’ll get the individual attention you need to gain clarity in yoga.

Level One

Start with your own practice.
Yoga 216’s Next Level Series / Level 1 Teacher Training is made up of 6 month-long modules that can be taken independently and in any order.

The individual modules are designed to let you learn more about yoga for your own practice.

The complete course will introduce students to the fundamental principles of teaching yoga and set you to continue learning to teach in our Level Two course.

Level Two

Commit to teaching.
Yoga 216’s Level Two: Teaching Yoga program is by invitation upon completion of either Level One Teacher Training or Functional Anatomy for Yoga Teachers.

Level Two is a mentorship program designed to prepare students to be teach yoga.

Functional Anatomy for Yoga Teachers

Already got your first (or even second or third) yoga teacher certification?
Still on shaky ground with the anatomy of the asana you teach? When you’re guiding other people through movement, it is vital to understand how that movement works!

Yoga 216’s Functional Anatomy for Yoga Teachers program cuts to the chase and teaches you how to work with key fundamentals of kinesiology (study of movement) to give you clarity and confidence in teaching your students.

about esther footer
That’s me, Esther

I teach yoga and champion individuality by teaching you what’s under the hood (thank you, yoga AND science!). Together, we sort through what we can know, what we can’t, and how to work with both. There might be Pixar quotes. And whiskey, neat.
